
The main goal of the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance project was to redesign the classic cars from the early 20th century. In this case, it was the redesign of the 1929 Duesenberg Dual Cowl Phaeton. The process mainly features all the old elements of the past and how they would look if these details were to reappear today.


First ideations of the redesigned 1929 Duesenberg Phaeton. Featuring a strong and bulky engine compartment based on the original model.



Refined concepts featuring the hollow light concept to improve air flow and for overall aesthetics of the car. Taillight based on single taillight from the original model giving it an asymmetrical shape. Front design features spread winged eagle showcased on the front grill design. This is to enhanced the status of the car.
Finalized Concepts

Finalized designs showcasing the eagle emblem of Duesenberg at the front. Overall profile of the car has been lifted to give more aggressive character to the car. The redesign of the 1929 Duesenberg Phaeton is primarily for customers looking for a car with a distinguished character.
